Hello there, people of WordPress. My name is Hannah.
I’d like to take a moment to introduce you all to In Idle Thoughts, a blog of mine that has been around for a while, but that has just recently been reimagined into something that (I hope) will be better than ever.
At this point, you’re probably wondering what I mean by that last statement, so I’ll give you a little background. In Idle Thoughts was my first-ever attempt at blogging, and as such, served more to chronicle my personal life and musings than anything else. But now, I’ve decided that I would much rather write about things that aren’t directly related to how my day went, or whatever happened to occur.
Thus, I’ve decided to give book blogging a try. I’m a voracious reader who’s passionate about both books and writing, and everything just seemed to fit together when the thought came up.
So, I invite readers both new and old to take a look around, and to (hopefully) come back as new posts and updates are added. In the meantime, I’ll be taking some time to get started with my reading.
Thank you for stopping by, and I hope to hear from some of you as this project continues to grow and evolve!
Without any reservations, I recommend Donatien de Sade, specifically the small collection called The Misfortunes of Virtue and Other Early Works (http://www.amazon.com/Misfortunes-Virtue-Oxford-Worlds-Classics/dp/019954042X/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1431421048&sr=8-1&keywords=the+misfortunes+of+virtue).
Unfortunately, it doesn’t look like I’m able to edit you comment; however, thank you for clearing it up. And I do agree… a preview feature for comments would be pretty beneficial to have.
The way I edit comments is by going directly to the Admin Dashboard, Posts–>All Posts, find the post in question and click on the little comment bubble on the right side of the screen. This will bring up all of the comments for the post and you will be able to edit them, delete them or approve comments you’ve missed.
WordPress…it’s a pain.
Thank you for letting me know about that! I was on mobile, and didn’t see that option, so I was a little confused for a moment there… but now it’s all fixed.
